Friends of the Lena Public Library

Mission

​The mission of the Friends of Lena Public Library support the library through fundraising, volunteerism and collaboration for the benefit of the community.
The Friends of the Lena Public Library are individuals and businesses that share a common goal: to advocate for our library. Friends volunteer their time, talent and energies to promote and support our community library by:
  • Helping our library remain a valuable community resource and community center. 
  • Encouraging and supporting giving to our library. 
  • Bringing quality programs for children, teens and adults to our community. 
  • Keeping learning and literacy alive for ALL AGES. 
  • Promoting educational and cultural events.

Strategic Planning

  • ​Fundraising Opportunities: Implement and diversify the funding opportunities in support of the library.​
  • Visibility: Improve public awareness of the Friends of the Lena Public Library and the role it plays in the success of the library.
  • Collaboration: Foster relationships with individuals, businesses and community organizations within Lena and the greater Oconto area.
